Nancy Kaye, “Letter to You”

The video was shot Christia Reily. She also did the primary editing and came to me looking for help giving it a more layered stylized look. She was looking for a ghosty look. I took the ball and ran with it. Looking at the finished video, it reminds me of some other videos i did years ago when i was just out of college.

It was also the first full project i did moving from fcp to premiere pro. the premiere pro/after effect work flow make this a much quicker process than it would have been in my old work flow. If you use after effects as a main tool, i would defiantly look into premier as an editor. especially since its basically free with the production bundle – because you know in addition to after effects you will need, at min, photoshop and illustrator.
